SHADOW OF THE MOUNTAIN-Why Nigel Cox's last book is a masterpiece.

Further to my blog review of 8 November you MUST see David Larsen's review of
The Cowboy Dog in the Listener of November 25. It's a sizzler!

Thanks for this Bookman.
Afte your review I went to Untiy in Wellington and bought the book.
David Larsen's review, and his enthusiasm for the book, and yours before it, are totally justified.

I agree with David Larsen.

If Larsen is correct in his assessment then one assumes The Cowboy Dog will be a leading contender for the fiction section of the Montana Book Awards? After all in the last two years his previous novels won him the runner up prize.

Thanks for this, I had just read David Larsen's review in the Listener at lunchtime. I was pleased to read his comment that the book is a "testing bit of writing" as I found it hard going at times and required a lot of concentration. But I persevered and in the end decided it really is a fine piece of writing.

I live in London . Could the New Zealander publisher of Cox's novel advise if and when, and by whom, The Cowboy Dog, will be published or available in the U.K.
