Jim Mora interviews Janet Evanovich

I was caught up in a northern motorway snarl yesterday afternoon which proved to be something of a bonus as I heard a longish (20 minutes) and interesting interview by Jim Mora of the big-selling US author Janet Evanovich. She talked about a raft of things in response to Mora's friendly and skilful probing, including her New Zealand chef, her writing practices, and her latest novel co-authored by Lee Goldberg. You can hear the interview at the Radio NZ website.

Janet Evanovich has over 75 million copies of her books sold around the globe and is translated into more than 27 languages. With over a dozen consecutive No 1 New York Times bestsellers, her iconic Stephanie Plum series features one of popular fiction's most beloved characters.

Lee Goldberg is a published author and a successful television writer. He wrote eight books in the Diagnosis Murder series and fifteen novels based on the TV show, 'Monk'.
