Publish and be Damned in Asia

White Fungus founders Ron Hanson and Mark Hanson will be speaking about the magazine this Saturday at Taipei Contemporary Art Center at the Publish and be Damned "Heart of Asia" meeting, organised by Kit Hammonds.   Also taking part in the discussion will be the editors of Waterfall, Taiwan Art Blog, Very View, Under Table, Chuan Art, Cloverand others. Hammonds will also be conducting interviews with people not able to attend for publication including Lovely Daze (TP) and Ha Wan Pao (HK). The aim of the meeting is to make links between some of the magazines and journals actively publishing in art and design, and to begin to map connections between Taiwan and other places both regionally and globally. Read more here. Based in London, Publish and Be Damned is an on-going project for discussing and promoting alternative directions in publishing outside the mainstream. PABD is currently in Taiwan on a residency at Taipei Contemporary Art Center.
